Are there Ways to Make Money with an Online …SOMETHING??
I know, I know…that sounds like a stupid run-on with no particular rhyme or reason, right?
There you’d be wrong… You’d be surprised at how many web hits I get on that question 😉
Fact is, most people don’t have a clue how to make money online with anything. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though…sometimes it’s good to just start fresh and ask yourself questions that require you to think a little before you answer!
How would you like to make money online?
Would you like to find ways to make money with an online;
- system?
- personal blog?
- affiliate website?
- a traditional storefront website?
- a FaceBook Fan Page?
- a Twitter Page?
…something else, perhaps?
The answer to that question lies within yourself. Don’t allow anyone to trick you into using the method they say you MUST use to create a steady home-based income online. Don’t allow someone else’s success define your own. Let your heart lead you to your passion and your passion will lead your journey to your own online success story.
One way to do this would be to search the internet for “Ways to Make Money with an Online (insert your best guess here)”. You could fall into all of the hype on the web about the “Best System”, or the “Best Blogging Platform”, or the “Best Get-Rich-Quick Program”…but you would likely fail in your endeavor to find anything that would fill you up. The amount of trash you would have to weed through would likely leave you discouraged and in the end you would feel like giving up all together.
As a somewhat “seasoned” marketer, I’ve tried many approaches to making money online. My work actually began before the internet was birthed using the “Fax on Demand” method of marketing. Then I tried ad sites, banner ads, posting affiliate links on bulletin boards and my home-built websites, hoping for any fish to bite so I could reel in the profits. Things have changed a TON since I started hanging out in this virtual world known as the internet. Now just about anyone can make a living off what they love and enjoy…just by writing about it. Why not you?
None of the “pitchy” programs ever make it very far (never did, never will)… so for a while (over a decade to be exact), I turned my ear away from network marketing and instead utilized the internet to create a successful presence in the civil engineering field by providing drafting and design services to private engineers and contractors. This earned me a pleasant five and six-figure income for several of the 15 or so years I ran my business and I used the internet everyday to create, contact and deliver my products. But it just wasn’t was I was looking for…so in 2012, sick and tired of working for others, (or should I say working at all) I once again changed my direction and decided to update my marketing skills. Now I’m back…wiser and more determined than ever before!
If you looking for fast money, you can quit reading this post right here and go back to googling the search engines for “fast cash” or “easy money”. You’ll find thousands of sites that will tweak your interest, but you won’t find those tacky testimonials here…what you WILL find are some off-the-cuff training, reviews and hard-hitting realities when it comes to the world of affiliate and network marketing.
